i can't believe it's already october! i've been really, crazy busy lately. these little puppies are almost all gone but we've got a few stragglers waiting until they are old enough to go to their new homes. i haven't been around here much because i've been over here doing things. once life settles back down i'll try to set a regular appearance in the birdnest again.

been busy.

we've been keeping busy around here with 9 little puppies, creating a website, and building a new business. it's been pretty crazy since i've been home from montana and we're leaving for the long weekend to visit family. but i'm so excited about getting out and taking photos. and photos from the airplane window, too!

another night at the fair

spent another night at the fair photographing carnival rides. never knew how much fun that could be. winding down here in my last week away from home and ready to be back taking care of penny's 9 puppies!

went to the fair this week and fell in love with the carnival. or at least photographing the carnival. my heart belongs to the carousel.

roller derby

went to a roller derby practice last week. it was interesting and i think i need to rent that movie. i didn't really understand the rules or goal before i went and i'm not sure i understand them yet but the girls seemed to have a blast. thanks hellgate roller girls!

garnet ghost town

took a short day trip to a local ghost town last weekend. it poured down rain the entire time i was there so the dark interiors of the buildings were even darker. it was kind of a creepy experience with the wind blowing the shutters and doors and the rain pounding on the roofs. the good news was i did not have to pay the $3 entry fee because i'm an annual national park pass holder!
