do u txt?

text

i was way overdue, 3 years, for a free phone upgrade. and since my old, trusty phone only held a battery charge for about 12 hours it was time for a new phone. i splurged and added texting to my previously talk only plan but i'm debating about it still.

do you text?
do you find it convenient?
is it too un-personal?

i also chose to go to the store to get my phone instead of ordering online because i like the person-to-person service. do you think texting is wrong for me?

hmmm, it's a conundrum for sure.....

  1. I am so old school. Just got texting on my phone in the last year, due to everyone texting me and the bill being outrageous.

Since I now have a newer phone, I text. Not alot, but I do on occasion. It is a very direct way to communicate. There are times that works best.
    Good luck.

  2. i chickened out and went back to my old plan, but it's $5 cheaper now than it was 5 years ago so i'm good for 50 "free" texts without bringing up my bill :)

  3. i gave over to texting about three years ago. at first i found it foreign + way too hip for my taste, but it definitely has its perks. it's super convenient and has actually created some of the funniest moments between my friends and me. although it pains me to say it, i really couldn't live without my android.
